Charlton Horethorne Church
Music at all levels from schoolchildren to accomplished performers.
Expect guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, brass and singing. You might even catch sight of a tea chest bass and a hurdy gurdy!
No charge for participants or for the audience
Wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be served

Playing hits from the fifties to the nineties and beyond, this five-piece band, with more than six decades of experience, will have you up on the floor dancing to the sounds of Dire Straits, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many more!

Picnic on the Millennium GreenEntry is FREE!
Bring your own picnic, chairs, table, blanket, table decorations, candelabra and maybe wear something patriotic for the occasion!
Entertainment will include:
Steve Burrows entertaining children from 3 to 93 all afternoon with circus skills, village games, juggling, hula-hooping, stilt-walking and much, much more
– a demonstration of Freestyle Heelwork to music by Tracey Robertson with her dog Reggie
live music from: Old Time Bluegrass The Unity Folk Club The Sherborne Ukulele Club
static display of vintage vehicles

The afternoon will culminate with the singing of the National Anthem

A charity event being organised by the Sprake family in recognition of the help given to a family member following a serious accident by charities such as The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Portland Brain Injury Unit and Headway.
