Cleeve House, Level Lane by kind invitation of Kate and Jane
We knit for various charities and wool is supplied.

Events to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Charlton Horethorne Village Hall:
2.30 – 5.00 p.m. Sunday 8th October 2023 – Exhibits, Refreshments and Cake-Cutting
Charlton Horethorne Village Hall
Enjoy a display of Hall and village history and memorabilia with FREE refreshments
At 3.30 p.m. the Celebratory Cake will be cut by two of the grandchildren of William Hole, the instigator of the purchase of the Hall in 1923
7.20 p.m. Friday 13th October 2023 – Concert by Yeovilton Military Wives Choir
Charlton Horethorne Village Hall
The Choir will sing a mix of popular songs, including some from WW1 and WW2, as well as the Choir’s usual classics.
Doors and bar open from 6.50 p.m.

2.30 p.m. Tuesdays 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October 2023 – ‘Loving Disagreement’
Charlton Horethorne Village Hall
Conflict is an inevitable part of life. There will be a series of discussions led by Rev Rona and based on the book ‘Loving Disagreement’ by Christopher Landau.
Everyone is welcome to attend this Bible Study series – you don’t have to come to all four meetings.
It is expected that they will last about an hour and there will be refreshments provided.
10.30 a.m. Thursday 12th October 2023 – Second Thursday Group
Charlton Horethorne Village Hall
The Second Thursday Group meets monthly for regular cofee mornings with entry of just £2 including refreshments which goes to Village Hall funds.

Tuesday 31st October 2023 – Charlton Horethorne Halloween Trail
Let’s brighten up our autumn. You are all invited to decorate your houses, gardens, paths etc. ‘Halloween style’.
If you wish to take part, kindly leave a lit pumpkin outside your house and a bowl of goodies for children to choose from.
Dig out some fancy dress, face paints etc., grab your torches and a bucket and admire the Halloween decorations and costumes – picking up some treats along the way!
Please no door knocking!
